Q. When is overnight parking prohibited?
A. 12:00 AM -7 AM
Q. Am I allowed parking overnight if I have a guest?
A. Yes, you must contact the trustees in advance and provide the dates.
Q Why are signs not allowed in our front yard?
A. VI. USE RESTRICTIONS section 7 No signs, advertisements, billboards, or advertising structures of any kind may be erected, maintained, or displayed on any lot.
Q. Who do I contact when the street light near my home is not working correctly?
A. From the front entrance to the creek, the City of Hazelwood should be contacted. From Moselle to the back of the subdivision, contact Ameren. Ameren light poles have an ID number, and that is helpful when reporting an outage. Both numbers are located under the Resource Tab, Helpful Links.
Q. Why can't I park my trailer or boat in my driveway?
A. Article VI. USE RESTRICTIONS section 9 Personal property, including, without limitation, boats, trailers, trucks, campers, and recreational vehicles, shall not be placed or stored permanently or temporarily in the open or in the unenclosed carport on any lot.
Q. Do I need approval for Landscaping?
A. No prior approval is required for Landscaping, but a design review for retention walls. The Riverwood Estates Indentures require each homeowner to maintain their lot and home to be compatible and harmonious with the neighborhood.
Q. Are Sheds allowed?
A. Storage structures, sheds of any kind are not allowed under the Indentures (See VI, Paragraph H ). This includes a storage structure for firewood. Find this in the link to the full indentures page 14.
Q. How do I get approval for fence or deck?
A. Select the Local Regulations link. Then select the Design Review application. That will give you a form to complete. Send that and the information requested to the Trustees.
Q. Can I have a blacktop driveway or sidewalk?
A. No blacktop driveway or sidewalk allowed.
Q. Do I need a design review for Sidewalk Addition?
A. Sidewalks of normal and appropriate proportions are not prohibited but are still subject to all the design review restrictions and any easements, which must be observed.
Q. How much are the HOA dues?
A. $250
Q.Who do I pay for my HOA dues?
A. City and Village Tax office, located under the resource tab (helpful links) you may pay online.
